Can you imagine Hong Kong without any signs or neon light? - Me neither. 
Neon lights were first used for in 1910, but it did not become mainstream until the 1960's - apparently we have more of these neon lights than anywhere else in the world! 
Sadly these beautiful landmarks that make Hong Kong so unique is fading away gradually with more and more business opting for cheaper mass produced signs.
